Samuel on video

I've promised our family in America some videos of Samuel for ages, but have been struggling to put them on here as I haven't managed yet to download the earliest videos of Samuel back onto the camera to view them and see which are really usable(our computer won't let me view them right now), but these are the most recent ones. He doesn't move very much, and won't talk much either if his 6th sense detects the camera being on somewhere near, but other than that you can get an idea of what Samuel is like right now. Also a few pictures from the last couple of weeks. Love to you all! Ceri xxx

Samuel at 9 weeks/2 months old...

Samuel at the end of his first mutual activity! (church youth group) He did pretty well, but we were both so wiped out by it. It's right across his winding down and going to bed time, so we'll have to see how he's doing each week I think as to whether he comes along with me or not.

Watching Peter and Rebekah as they play. He's fascinated by them and can get quite excited watching them, moving around as though he really wants to join in too. Can you see Peter's long chain of traffic? He plays like this so much of the time right now - making huge lines of traffic (the length only dependent on how many cars there are around to play with) and moving the whole line along one little bit at a time.

Playing in the baby gym (he's just starting to like it and really want to play / interact with things around him rather than just us now). 10 weeks old, on a very warm day...

Just over 10 weeks old. Ready for bed at the end of the day, outside with me as I gathered the washing in from off the washing line. Rebekah and Peter came out before going up to bed - any chance to go out and play - and ended up interacting with him really beautifully.

Watching Peter do one of his wonderful outdoor activities - painting with water. He loves using this big brush especially and will paint just about anywhere with it.

Samuel at 10 and a half weeks, with Sarah and Peter. He held this pose for ages and ages, which is why I took a picture of him. It seemed so funny. I guess he just relaxed right where he was!

These two just got taken today and I think he has been less affected by the camera being there on these than on any others (more talking etc.!) so I may as well include these too. :o) Samuel is 11 weeks old today.

This was at 6 o'clock this morning after Samuel had fed for a while and decided now was the time to get up. Michael, Samuel and I were the only ones up, and we took a bit of time on our own with him while we could before getting ready for the day. He was being so happily chatty that I thought we'd risk trying to film him (normally sure to stop him saying a thing), and for once he didn't seem to mind a bit.

This one is Rebekah having a bit of time with Samuel late this afternoon. He loves whatever attention he gets from any of his siblings, and when they feel like it they love to spend a little bit of time with him too.

Awww, he's so lovely! The blue eyes are still there! :)

Alec makes lines of trains and slowly pushes them around a bit-like Peter does with his cars. It's very cute. :)

Wow, Samuel has really got big already - very chunky! And he doesnt look so like Peter anymore, definitely his own person. Morris has just come out of nappies at night, I'm so relieved and proud. He too likes to paint with water like Peter, we have one of those aqua-draw mats and he just likes to colour it in completely - I'll have to try your trick of a paintbrush outside too. Love and best wishes to all the family, Fiona, Mark, Austin & Morris. XXxx

Wow Fiona - hello! It's great to hear from you! Morris looks SO big on your facebook pictures - definately his own little person too. Austin - he's just a little Mark, isn't he?! Paintbrushes and water are just great for little helpers! You might have to watch out for yours freezing half of the year though I suppose!
